the best way to prevent the infection is to avoid getting exposed to the virus. This could be achieved by:

  • avoid touching your eyes and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • use good quality sanitizers containing at least 60% of alcohol.
  • avoid contact with affected persons and maintain a distance.
  • try to avoid large gatherings if not necessary.
  • cover your nose and mouth with the facemask.
  • clean the daily use objects and disinfect them before use like mobile, laptops and other accessories.

After a lot of research, the US has come up with the development of a coronavirus vaccine. This vaccine is called mRNA-1273 that is an inactive form. The mRNA vaccine is intended to act against SARS-CoV-2 encoding for a prefusion stabilized form of the Spike (S) protein, that was selected by it in collaboration with investigators from the Vaccine Research Center (VRC), a part of NIH.

the amazing news is that the 1st trial for the coronavirus vaccine has begun. The first dose has successfully injected in a US volunteer named JENNIFER HALLER, 43-year-old mother-of-two from Seattle. the vaccine would would be given in three doses. but the examination process shall take up to 14 months.

But, the tragic news is that the vaccine would be available to local use after 12 to 18 months after the ideal inspection of a total of 45 volunteers up to that period. Volunteers will receive two injections of the vaccine in the upper arm, with a 28-day gap between doses.

The first volunteer will be receiving the lowest dose of the vaccine, per injection 25 micrograms (mcg), as said by NIAID. The same initial dose will be given to the next three, and four more will each receive a 100-mcg dose of the vaccine. Before the second dose, each one will be properly examined. If participants’ reactions to the low doses prove acceptable, the third group of participants will receive 250 mcg of the vaccine per injection.     

since there is no localized treatment of vaccine against corona, it is essential to undergo the above mentioned preventive measures. till then stay safe and healthy.
